Mental health is something that will likely affect the majority of us at some point in our life with stats indicating that one in four of us will be affected. In one way or another, whether that be ourselves or that of a loved one or friend.
With mental health problems becoming a growing public concern and workplaces facing more responsibility around the mental health of their employees, we felt it was only right that we try and do our bit and address the problem.
Tuesday 10th October is World Mental Health Day and thousands of people will be coming together to take part in the Mental Health Foundations, Tea and Talk event.
We will, therefore, be hosting a Tea and Talk event at our office from 8:30am – 10:30am on Tuesday 10th October, which coincides with World Mental Health Day and we invite you to come along!
Mental health and wellbeing is something that is close to all of our hearts at KC Communications so all donations made throughout the morning will be split between the national charity, the Mental Health Foundation and local mental health charity, Support to Recover.
Whether you pop in on your way to work, after you’ve dropped the kids off at school or even take an hour or so out of the office, come along, enjoy a drink, breakfast pastries and of course some baked goods along with a good old fashioned natter… because after all, it’s good to talk!
Please register your attendance on our Eventbrite page so we can ensure we’ve got enough tea and cake!
When: Tuesday 10th October, 8:30 – 10:30am
Where: KC Communications, Independence House, Hollybank Road, Lindley, HD3 3LX (Use HD3 3HN for SAT NAV’s).
We hope to see you there.
