The team at KC Communications come from a variety of backgrounds, and each brings with them a unique set of skills, which ensure our clients gain access to some of the best people in the industry.

We’re passionate about what we do, and one of the unique things about us is that every member of the team, from the MD to the marketing assistant are constantly going through continuous professional development to ensure we provide the highest level of insight and expertise to the organisations we work with.

Katrina Cliffe MCIM

Managing Director

Katrina is the founder and Managing Director of KC Communications. Having started her career as an apprentice, Katrina has worked for a variety of organisations including world-renowned design agency ATTIK, whose roots originated in Huddersfield, along with heading up the marketing efforts for a global-facing tech business before going on to establish KC Communications.

Not one to shy away from continued professional development, Katrina has, throughout her 17-year marketing career, gained an Open University Certificate in Business, a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma in Marketing Communications and has recently completed a CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing with a focus on Metrics & Analysis.

Amanda Evans

Operations Manager

Amanda is responsible for all aspects of operations within KC Communications including finance and HR.  Amanda has a degree in Business & Finance from Leeds University and also holds a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

Amanda has extensive experience within the marketing sector and has held a number of senior marketing roles within BT Global Services and O2 UK. More recently, Amanda was the founder of her own award winning children’s e-commerce business and spent six years managing events, campaigns, social media and PR working with global brands.  Alongside this, she was a key player in fund raising events, raising money for local charities including Kirkwood Hospice, Huddersfield Town Foundation and Variety Club.

Sarah Benson ACIM

Account Manager

Sarah is one of our Marketing Account Managers and is responsible for looking after many of our key accounts including some of our more recent wins having only joined us in May 2016. Alongside the day to day management of accounts, Sarah also plays a key role in supporting the growth of the business.

With a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Management from Leeds Trinity University and experience working for a Leeds-based PR Agency, Sarah’s background is already proving to be an asset to the business.

Laura Batchelor

Account Manager

Laura joined us in May and is responsible for taking on some of our new client wins. As well as the day to day client management, Laura will also play a key role in supporting team development.

Laura has a degree in Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire Business School. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her 12 year marketing career in various agencies. Most recently heading up the Asda Local account at a well renowned Leeds creative agency.

Alex Humphries MPRCA

Junior Account Manager 

Alex is the most recent addition to the KC team and joins having previously been the Digital Marketing Manager for a nationwide flooring retailer.  His role will see him take on a number of day-to-day responsibilities including liaising with clients and overseeing digital marketing projects.

Since graduating with an honours degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Huddersfield in 2014, Alex has held several roles in the digital sector, both agency and client-side.  He has previously worked on projects for the likes of Betfair, Coral and Tui, and he is currently studying for a Masters degree in Media and Public Relations via Distance Learning through the University of Leicester.
