Further to the announcement that we had been appointed by Huddersfield Community Trust in November 2015, we are delighted to have completed a rebrand on their behalf.

The rebrand comes after undertaking detailed internal and external research on perceptions of the organisation and how KC Communications can maximise the awareness of the trust throughout 2016 and beyond.

Working closely with the CEO, Heads of Departments and Trustees we executed the rebrand in just 6 weeks in order to launch the new identity at the MY Conference which took place on March 16th at John Smiths Stadium, Huddersfield.

The new look provides the trust with its own identity as opposed to being known as “The Zone”, the venue where they are based. It has been designed to clearly demonstrate  the variety of activities that take place within the organisation to engage people, improve community cohesion, fitness and well-being and raise the hopes and aspirations of the people of Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

Based at indoor venue, The Zone, which houses Yorkshires largest play gym structure, 3G pitches and a café, they also offer opportunities with a variety of different departments including the Dance Zone, Elite Sports Education Academy and the National Citizenship Service.

Huddersfield Community Trust is also responsible for all community sports and educational activities on behalf of Huddersfield Town Football Club and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Football Club.

Lisa Hewitt, CEO of Huddersfield Community Trust said: “Connecting with and supporting the development and aspirations of our communities is incredibly important to us – and our new brand has been designed to help us make more connections, more easily.  I am thrilled with the final look that Katrina and her team have developed and excited about our partnership as we move into the next phase of marketing”.

Katrina Cliffe, MD of KC Communications added: “It’s a pleasure to work with such a passionate organisation. Their commitment to such a tight deadline is testament to their passion to make a difference to the lives of the local community. We look forward to the next steps in our working relationship”.

The next steps of the process include delivery of a new website and updating all existing collateral.
