Yorkshire integrated digital marketing specialist, Fishtank Agency, has appointed four employees to support the ongoing demand for its services as businesses seek to enhance their online impact.

The agency, which specialises in web development and digital marketing, has welcomed Liam Rainford as the company’s first Junior Graphic Designer and Animator, Max Wright as placement Junior Front-End Developer, Jacy Yates as Junior Digital Marketer and Georgina Kettle as Account Executive to support the delivery of both new and existing projects.

The appointments follow a series of client wins, including Wigan Warriors, Paragon Oak, Eleven Sports and City Taxis, for which Fishtank won a B2C Marketing Campaign of the Year (Less than £50k) at the Prolific North Awards in 2020.

The agency has also been appointed to develop a website and revise branding for specialist plastic extruder Tubex, and innovative geosynthetics manufacturer Terram, as well as provide digital marketing campaigns, full SEO redirect and optimisation strategies.

Liam, a graduate of Leeds Arts University, has a BA in Graphic Design and experience gained with a design agency in New York. Liam will focus on all aspects of Graphic Design, from digital, print to animation.

Currently a Computing student at The University of Huddersfield, Max is undertaking a year-long placement with plans to work part-time during his final year before joining the firm full-time upon graduation.

To enhance the delivery of the client services department and the development and implementation of client strategy, Jacy will utilise her knowledge from studying Events Management at the University of the Highlands and Islands, while Georgina brings valuable experience from a marketing placement with IKEA alongside studying Media and Popular Culture at The University of Huddersfield.

Commenting on the appointments, Founder and Managing Director, Damien Fisher, said “We are so delighted to welcome Liam, Max, Jacy and Georgina to the tank. The last year has been a tough year for many, but especially for graduates who face entering a world of work that has been completely turned upside down.”

“Although our new recruits joined amid a global pandemic and have worked wholly remotely since joining us, they have taken their roles by the horns and worked hard to prove their passion and knowledge to provide our clients with a high-quality service. We are excited to see what the future holds.”

Georgina commented further: “I’m thrilled to have joined the talented team at Fishtank Agency. I look forward to creating identities, digital platforms and strategic campaigns that transform businesses with such a passionate team.”

The Fishtank team are still looking to grow their strategy and creative teams further and would like to hear from people with a passion for problem-solving, creativity, collaboration and more.
