Yorkshire integrated digital marketing specialist, Fishtank Agency, has been shortlisted for the Best Social Purpose Campaign at the Prolific North Marketing Awards for its outstanding campaign on Tubex’s Collection & Recycling Programme.
The Marketing Awards recognise stand-out campaigns over the past year from top agencies across the North. The Best Social Purpose Campaign award, in particular, recognises the best campaign that champions an ethical cause.
The Tubex Collection and Recycling Programme was born to address the issue of plastic waste. Through conversations with distributors and end-users, Tubex realised they needed to work hard to further support and protect the environment.
The ingenious and strategic thinkers crafted an integrated strategy to increase key audiences’ interest, educate them through visual assets such as infographics and videos, and encourage them to register and start making sustainable choices like growing trees.
Through the cohesive marketing strategy, the digital agency increased brand awareness and website enquiries, grew social traffic and improved website page duration resulting in the collection of more than 150,000 Tubex tree shelters and over 25,000 kg of plastic to be recycled.
Founder and Managing Director, Damien Fisher, commented on the shortlist, “We are delighted to see Tubex’s Collection & Recycling Programme recognised in the Best Social Purpose Campaign category and up against some huge companies and fantastic campaigns.
“As a smaller agency and with a limited budget, we want to show it is possible to make big waves to support an important purpose no matter the size of your company. We are incredibly proud to be working with Tubex in order to address the issue of plastic waste and help to save our environment for future generations.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 25th November at the Queens Hotel, Leeds.
