On Friday 7th July we had the pleasure of throwing open our doors to clients, suppliers and friends. We even had a visit from Huddersfield Town Football Club, who brought along the Championship Playoff trophy!
Having relocated to Independence House in April 2017, we have been busy with quite an intensive renovation programme to ensure our new office space not only fits with our brand but is a place our employees and clients come to feel inspired.
Having invested heavily, with additional support from The LEP’s AD:Venture programme to assist us through the process a little bit faster, we now have plenty of space to allow the business to grow further over the next few years.
After taking out a full floor which includes a variety of rooms, we put a lot of thought into our new space… after all, we spend more time in the office than at home! We, therefore, wanted to have an environment which would be suitable for both collaborative and solo working while at the same time would help support a healthy work/life balance.
The first room we considered was the meeting room. Having a cramped meeting room in our previous premises that could only just fit four people at a push, this was the one space we wanted to maximise. With a lot of thought, we opted to create a meeting room/gym enabling us to flex both our minds and muscles.
To ensure we could freshen up, a shower room was installed, which will also come in handy in advance of award celebrations and team nights out!
The pièce de résistance however, is, of course, our fabulous south-facing roof terrace! It’s a great area to hold meetings, have lunch or even take the opportunity to work outside in the fresh air while topping up the Vitamin D levels.
We want to thank everyone who came along on the day, and those who have supported us throughout the past three years and of course to John Early for taking such wonderful pictures to capture the occasion.
If you didn’t manage to come along to our office warming, we would love to welcome you at some point. Simply get in touch, we might even have some fizz left in the fridge!
