The shortlist tops off the end of a fantastic first year in business after our latest hat trick of client wins, a nomination in the Yorkshire Women of Achievement in Business Awards and a certificate of recognition for our ongoing commitment to apprenticeships.
Since founding KC Communications in August 2014, Katrina has rapidly grown the marketing consultancy business taking on two full time members of staff to support a growing client list with a strong pipeline to grow the business further over the next 12 months.
There will be 144 entrepreneurial female business leaders who will compete across 11 categories at the awards in September. Karen Boswell, Managing Director of Hitachi Rail and Chair of the judging panel, said judging was a difficult process: “The standard of entries for this year’s Women in Business Awards was outstanding which made selecting the shortlist extremely difficult. This is a testament to the high quality of our female business leaders across Yorkshire who are helping the region’s economy grow.”
The awards take place at The Crowne Plaza in Newcastle on Tuesday 29th September.
