‘It’s a Knockout’ to return for 2017, fundraising for The Town Foundation

After the success of last year’s ‘It’s a Knockout’ contest, local businesses are teaming up again to go head to head on the themed obstacle course to raise money for local charity, The Town Foundation.

The contest will take place on Friday 9th of June at PPG Canalside and in previous years has seen over 120 businesses and professionals set out to raise £1,000 or more per team.

Launched in 2012, The Town Foundation helps improve the quality of life for young people across Huddersfield and West Yorkshire in a number of ways. By providing children with a healthy breakfast before their school day starts to those who may not have received one otherwise, the Foundation’s breakfast clubs have been recognised as a significant benefit to children across the area.

This is just one example of the work that The Town Foundation carries out in order to make a difference to the local community. You can read more about their work on their website.

After joining forces with Sheards Accountancy in last year’s contest, we are thrilled to be able to put forward our own team this year as well as inviting our friends over at Orchard, Ever, Microform and Pip to Grow Strong to join in the fun and make up our team of ten.

With a target of £1,000 to hit, we welcome all the support we can get. You can make a donation on our JustGiving page or if you would rather make an offline donation then please contact Megan West at megan@kccomms.co.uk. Alternatively, you can text KCTF99 £5 to 70070.

We hope to see you there and thank you for your support!
