KC Communications has been appointed by Leeds based Temple Learning Partnership Trust to manage its brand development, marketing, social media and PR for its free school, Temple Learning Academy which is due to open in September 2015.

Temple Learning Academy, is an all through free school due to open in East Leeds to children aged between 4 – 16. The school will grow organically before reaching its full capacity of 1020 pupils in 2021.

With tight deadlines to support the schools pre-opening process, KC Communications delivered a full brand and initial PR activity including press, radio and TV coverage within just a few short weeks, in order to effectively communicate the USPs of the school to its core audience and community as a whole.

Moving forward KC Communications will continue to manage Temple Learning Academy’s PR, social media, creative and online marketing activities to support pupil recruitment in line with deadlines set by the Department for Education.

Diane Potter, HR, Operations and Marketing Director for TNLP Trust commented: “The marketing and communications for our Free School, Temple Learning Academy has been exceptional. Katrina listened and immediately understood our aims and working closely alongside us was able to devise a plan aligned to our needs and which has already had a massive impact.

Without this marketing strand to our development we would not have had the positive exposure we were looking for in the public arena. The partnership we have had has exceeded all our expectations! This is our first project working with KC Communications but will certainly not be the last!”

Katrina Cliffe, Director of KC Communications commented: “It is a pleasure to work with such a forward thinking educational establishment. From the initial design concepts for the school logo to ongoing marketing and PR opportunities, Temple Learning Academy are willing to experiment and try new ideas in order to communicate with their core audience. I am looking forward to the next few months and seeing all the hard work come to fruition when the school opens in September 2015”.
