Circus PPC are a pay-per-click agency based in Leeds that specialise in the Retail, Travel, Finance and iGaming sectors. They are a small team of 7 who undertake basic marketing functions including social media and blog writing in-house. However, the identified the need to utilise PR to assist them in achieving their key business objectives.
We have been working with Circus PPC since March 2017 on their PR Strategy. They initially approached us to undertake the work to raise their profile within their industry and that of their key 4 target markets.
Our PR strategy focused on raising Circus PPC’s profile in the marketing industry by securing coverage in industry publications including Prolific North and Digital Marketing Magazine. These pieces ranged from business updates/news such as new contracts wins to specifically commissioned, thought-led pieces.
Our focus on the specific target markets included identifying relevant industry publications in each sector and pitching thought-led content to each. We have secured coverage in a number of highly regarded publications in each sector including: Retail Times, Travolution, FinTech Times and iGB Affiliate Magazine.
In the last 10 months, we have seen some fantastic results through the coverage gained which has resulted in an increase in referral traffic to the website from backlinks in any online coverage. We have also seen Direct traffic increase as a result of increased brand awareness.
Feedback from the client is that they have experienced their best year yet with turnover, staffing and client numbers significantly increasing which they expect to see continue into 2018.
