Katrina Cliffe MCIM

Managing Director

Katrina is the founder and Managing Director of KC Communications. Having started her career as an apprentice, Katrina has worked for a variety of organisations including world-renowned design agency ATTIK, whose roots originated in Huddersfield, along with heading up the marketing efforts for a global-facing tech business before going on to establish KC Communications.

Not one to shy away from continued professional development, Katrina has, throughout her 17-year marketing career, gained an Open University Certificate in Business, a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma in Marketing Communications and has recently completed a CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing with a focus on Metrics & Analysis.

Ellis Noble

Account Director

With over seven years of experience, Ellis has worked on the PR accounts of some of the UK’s biggest brands. As part of her role, she focuses on the development and execution of creative campaigns for both PR and marketing clients, working across multiple industry verticals and managing client relationships within the agency. 

Working at an award-winning SEO and PR agency for five years has given her extensive knowledge of digital platforms, and her expertise allows her to develop successful strategies that use data and insight to provide clients with tangible results that can support wider business objectives.

 

Megan Booth

Junior PR Account Manager

Megan joins our team as a Junior Account Manager. After completing a BA (Hons) History degree at The University Huddersfield, Megan secured her first PR and communications role at an international manufacturing company. After spending 18 months in an in-house role, Megan decided to pursue a career working in a PR agency.

Megan is a keen writer who is customer-focused in her approach. She strives to produce compelling, effective copy that engages audiences and achieves results for clients. Megan has experience across PR, copywriting, social media, digital marketing, and internal communications.

Kayleigh Morgan

Junior Account Manager

With a passion for personal growth and development, demonstrated through undertaking two apprenticeship qualifications in Business and completing a BA (Hons) Marketing degree while working full time (pretty impressive), Kayleigh joins the team as Junior Account Manager.

With in-house experience across multiple sectors, she brings a fresh insight to the team, and in particular being able to relate to clients and place herself in their shoes. With an interest in social media marketing, content creation and brand management, as a Junior Account Manager, Kayleigh maintains relationships with clients and works with the team to help clients achieve their strategies, goals and objectives.

Hollie Thornton

Account Executive

Hollie joins the team alongside studying towards a Digital Marketing apprenticeship. Hollie has five years experience in the Photography industry, having secured a BA (Hons) Photography degree from the University of Huddersfield.

With Hollie’s creative flare, she brings a lot of fresh ideas to the team using her imaginative eye.

Lana Eardley

Operations Manager

Lana started with the business as a part time administrative and finance assistant, alongside her studies for her BA (Hons) Travel and Tourism degree at the University of Huddersfield, and has recently taken the position of Operations Manager in line with the growth of the business.

With extensive experience in office management, previously working for a travel agency and a large hotel chain, Lana brings operational support to the team and manages all finances and HR, as well as diary manager for both Katrina and Ellis. With a special interest in learning and development, Lana is working to be the KC training champion. Lana is a people focused manager with the drive for success for both the business and its employees.

KC Communications creates a monthly report that helps to monitor the impact of their work - in my case, PR activity alone. Through the reporting of data and, more importantly, the analysis of that data, they pointed out that whilst traffic to my independently-created website was increasing (because of the PR activity), the bounce rate was high.

This highlighted a risk to the return on investment from PR activity. Because of this insight we were able to redirect their activity to refining my branding, messaging and website structure, before resuming focused PR activity.

As a client I feel reassured that KC Communications is invested in my long-term success and not activity for activity’s sake!
